   When was this? Danny Kaye did something similar together with the New York Philharmonic orchestra in 1981.

    Kudos to the orchestra for being able to play so spectacularly with Borge conducting. I think it’d be pretty hard to just play and not laugh your head off.

    Yes he had a farm/summer house there. He had a house in St. Croix but it was destroyed by a tyfone, and since then he never went back there, and bought a house in Algarve in Portugal. He lived a very primitive life there, “back to the nature” as he said.
